Born and bred in Brighton, Leigh plays an active daily role within the company assisting clients with both sales and lettings solutions. Having started his career in agency over twenty years ago, Leigh is a member of ARLA and is able to put his experience and friendly manner to good use when liaising with all aspects of property. In his spare time Leigh enjoys running, playing golf and spending time with his young family.
Having grown up in Portslade and lived all his life locally, James has an unrivalled and in depth knowledge of the area. James joined Spencer & Leigh in 2003, having previously worked for a corporate agent in Brighton. He now heads up the Patcham Branch with his friendly and personable approach really epitomising our ethos. His enthusiasm for the role is unbeatable and James prides himself on the high level of recommendations he receives from clients old and new.
Having worked in specialised retail for the last ten years, half of which as a store manager, Simon is extremely customer focused and looks forward to a challenge. His experience has enabled him to always have his client’s needs at the forefront of his mind. Simon has a broad knowledge of property and is currently studying to become a member of The National Association of Estate Agents. Sue has been involved in estate agency for over 20 years and has been a valued member of the Spencer & Leigh team for 9 years. Living locally, Sue grew up in the Patcham area and has a great local knowledge. Sue prides herself on finding our clients their perfect home. In her spare time Sue enjoys spending time with her young family.
Sarah has a vast experience as an Estate Agent having started her career more than 20 years ago. You will find her enthusiasm infectious and her dynamic and personable approach extremely refreshing. After meeting Sarah many clients find her hard to forget and insisting on recommending her to friends and family. Sarah can assist in every aspect of your move.
Helen heads up our Administration department and works closely with our vendors and buyers assisting with every administrational aspect of their journey. Helen has a friendly manner and has acquired the nickname of "Helpful Helen". Helen lives in Hove with her son and has done so for in excess of ten years. In her spare time Helen has a keen interest in IT and enjoys reading books.
Having lived locally in Brighton all of her life, Katie plays an integral part in assisting with the day to day management of our letting department. Katie has a fantastic knowledge of the lettings industry and is always on hand to assist with enquiries, not just from landlords, but also tenants from the very start of a tenancy all the way through to the conclusion. In her spare time, Katie enjoys horse riding and socialising.
Lucy has worked within the letting industry in recent years. Her interest has grown within the world of residential lettings during this time and she enjoys taking pride in assisting landlords and tenants with all aspects of their rental experience. Lucy works alongside Katie and is based at our Portslade branch. Outside of work Lucy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and has lived locally for many years.
Being a born and bred Brightonian, Leanne has worked for various companies in different industries’ and brings a unique skill set to the role. Working from our Portslade branch in Lettings Administration, Leanne has a distinct passion for making sure every stage of our clients tenancy is just right and an exacting eye for detail. Leanne lives locally with her young family and enjoys keeping active.
Having been a pro-active member of the lettings team for 4 ½ years, Vanessa started her career late in life but has developed an extensive knowledge of the lettings industry. Vanessa knows too well that no two days are the same and lettings is a diverse, fast paced industry. Vanessa is often in constant contact with tenants and landlords on a daily basis. In her spare time she likes to tend to her garden, volunteer at a local Cat Rescue Centre and looks after and plays with her grandchildren.
Phoebe is a pro-active and enthusiastic member of our team and is based at our Lettings Hub in Portslade, in the role as administrator. Having lived in Brighton all of her life, Phoebe has a fantastic local knowledge and is keen to help our clients through their letting journey. Phoebe has a creative flare and in her spare time enjoys socialising and spending time with her family.
Elisabeth grew up in New Zealand and has lived locally in Brighton for many years. Elisabeth occupies the role of Lettings Administrator and works closely with both tenants and landlords on a daily basis, looking after all aspects of their tenancy's. Having a young family, Elisabeth is often busy and likes to unwind with Yoga.
Ella has worked in the property industry for close to 10 years. Starting her career as an inventory clerk and then progressing to property management and now maintenance manager of Spencer & Leigh's managed portfolio. This experience she has plays a vital role in ensuring all repairs and maintenance issues are dealt with in a quick and efficient manner. In her spare time Ella enjoys watching rugby, partaking in boxing classes and indulging her passion for documentaries.
