James joined Spencer & Leigh in 2003, having previously worked for a corporate agent in Brighton. He now heads up the Portslade Branch with his friendly and personable approach really epitomising our ethos. His enthusiasm for the role is unbeatable and James prides himself on the high level of recommendations he receives from clients old and new.

Sarah has a vast experience as an Estate Agent having started her career more than 20 years ago. You will find her enthusiasm infectious and her dynamic and personable approach extremely refreshing. After meeting Sarah many clients find her hard to forget and insisting on recommending her to friends and family. Sarah can assist in every aspect of your move.

Leanne Hart

Administrator

Being a born and bred Brightonian, Leanne has worked for various companies in different industries’ and brings a unique skill set to the role. She has a distinct passion for making sure every clients particulars and presentation of their property is just right and an exacting eye for detail. Leanne looks after all aspects of administration within the branch.

Leigh Brand

Director

Born and bred in Brighton, Leigh plays an active daily role within the branch assisting clients with both sales and lettings solutions. Having started his career in agency over twenty years ago, Leigh is a member of ARLA and is able to put his experience and friendly manner to good use when liaising with all aspects of property. In his spare time Leigh enjoys running, playing golf and spending time with his young family.

Sue Wilkinson

Sue has been involved in estate agency for over 20 years and has been a valued member of the Spencer & Leigh team for 9 years. Living locally, Sue grew up in the Patcham area and has a great local knowledge. Sue prides herself on finding our clients their perfect home. In her spare time Sue enjoys spending time with her young family.

Lilly Monk

Sales Consultant

Lilly started her exciting career with Spencer & Leigh as an apprentice three years ago and has since grown into a successful property professional. Inspired by her interest in property, Lilly has continued to develop her skills via an extensive training programme and enjoys providing a high level of customer service to her clients.

Rebecca Hawkes

Rebecca is the most recent addition to the Spencer & Leigh sales team. After working in the world of lettings for 5 years, Rebecca completed her ARLA qualification and has adapted her skills to the challenges of working within a sales environment. Rebecca is extremely keen, motivated and driven to meet clients expectations.

Nicola Holter

Senior Administrator

Nicola began working with Spencer & Leigh three years ago and heads up the administration team for the Patcham office. After spending part of her working career in newspaper advertising and then in a school, Nicola decided to take a different path into busy world of property. It was a decision which has led to many exciting life changes including a move to the countryside and a change of lifestyle.

Lucy Hansford

Lucy has a wealth of experience in the world of lettings and is a member of ARLA. As head of the letting department at Spencer & Leigh, Lucy has a hands on approach and works closely with both landlords and tenants ensuring every aspect of their tenancy runs smoothly. Lucy enjoys getting involved and is always on hand to provide advice and answer questions. Lucy lives locally and in her spare time can often be found running along Hove seafront.

Vanessa Cheal

Lettings Administrator

Having been a pro-active member of the lettings team for 4 ½ years, Vanessa started her career late in life but has developed an extensive knowledge of the lettings industry. Vanessa knows too well that no two days are the same and lettings is a diverse, fast paced industry. Vanessa is often in constant contact with tenants and landlords on a daily basis. In her spare time she likes to tend to her garden, volunteer at a local Cat Rescue Centre and looks after and plays with her grandchildren.
